Memphis Depay PSV EindhovenThe Red Devils will have a very exciting talent in their squad next season and he has all the attributes to become one of the best players in the world.
Manchester United wasted no time in securing one of the most gifted playmakers in world football in the form of Memphis Depay.
Dutch Journalist Thijs Slegers has provided the insights about the star who is an absolute monster and will be a guaranteed success at Old Trafford.
Firstly, Slegers has talked about how good is Depay’s relation with manager Louis van Gaal and that was a really significant factor why he signed for the club.
The Netherlands star is full of confidence and has a fearless style of play. Thijs claims that Depay has the ability to raise the bar higher every time he faces a new challenge.
The following piece of excerpt probably describes Depay perfectly and how he focuses on achieving the best.

Memphis is a monster in the gym: “He has been working hard in the gym since being in the youth department of PSV and this summer the club are going to build a new gym for the youth in Eindhoven. One of the things they have planned is to have Memphis’ personal best next to each machine, because he has set a lot of records. This is to show exactly what they want from the young players and what is the benchmark. They’ve made Memphis the standard to aim for.”

Moreover, the journalist stated that Memphis should not be compared with Dutch superstar Arjen Robben instead he should be compared to Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo as they have similar qualities.
Thijs Slegers’ comments have arguably raised the expectations of United fans who cannot wait to see him in action.
