Video – Aguero & Messi on Target but Paraguay Bounced Back

Lionel Messi ArgentinaArgentina were considered favorites to beat Paraguay in their opening contest of the Copa America but their defense crumbled under pressure.
The star studded team were dominant throughout in the first half took a deserved 2-0 lead at half time.
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero opened the scoring in the 29th minute, taking advantage of the horrible back pass, rounded the goalie and slotted the ball in the empty net.
Minutes later, Argentina were awarded a penalty as Di Maria was brought down in the box. Who else, Lionel Messi stepped up to double the lead.
However, Paraguay bounced back in style in the second 45 minutes and ensured they earned a point. On the 60th minute mark, Valdez unleashed a brilliant striker from 25 odd yards to get one goal back.
Paraguay constantly piled pressure on shaky Argentine defense and it eventually paid of in the 90th minute. La Albiceleste failed to deal with a free kick as the ball was nodded in the path of Barrios who leveled the score with a low strike.
