Manchester United are set to have another exciting transfer window with quality players to arrive at Old Trafford.
Already, the Red Devils have officially confirmed one deal to sign Dutch star Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven.
Moreover, as per latest reports, Manchester United may as well officially confirm the deal to sign German international Ilkay Gundogan.
According to the provided link, United are set to announce the deal this weekend after agreeing terms with the player. The fee would be around €28m.
Arsenal were also interested in securing the services of highly rated Borussia Dortmund star but United have acted swiftly with the transfers.
Capable of playing as a deep lying playmaker, as a creative central midfielder and also as an attacking midfielder, Gundogan’s versatility makes him unique and not many midfielders are as complete as him in world football.
Last season was terrible for the 24 year old as he was injured and missed the World Cup as well because of Spinal problem.
However, Ilkay has bounced back well this season and has featured in 35 games this season, scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists.
United already have quality options like Herrera, Fellaini, Blind and veteran Carrick for midfield. Gundogan will surely increase the quality and depth of the department.
Manchester United fans cannot wait for the move to be announced officially, we shall see whether or not that will happen this weekend.

This will be a good signing but Man U need to add schweinsteiger to the squad as his experience will help Man U in the champions league. Micah Richards of Man City is available for free, just add him to the right back then the team is ok with the returning Chicharito and Angelo Henriquez. Man U should give Angelo Henriquez a more playing time in the attack as he’s scores 22 goals this season on loan for Dinamo Zagreb.man U should forget about signing a defender because we have Dailey Blind and Rojo who can play the central also pairing with either Jones or Smallimg.
At least two defenders are needed experienced ones two strikers replacing Falcao and Van Persie. Replacement of Paul Scholes has not been done. All these have to be sorted out as soon as possible for us to reclaim the title. Hummels, Cavani, Alves, and other superstars are badly wanted. We dont want excuses when the league starts . Gundogan is a good signing for man utd but i pray the deal work out because many a times we’ve about many deal but later turn out to be rumour and fail to work out positively.. We all heared about vidal, strootman and the likes.. We can sign Gundogan ok. But we must sell Chicharito and Nani yhis coming season. LvG must give them a chance to prove themselves. He managed to revitalise some players’ careers, therefore he can do the same with these two players.

We’ve been needing a box to box, ball-getting midfielder in the Keane mould for a long time and hopefully this guy fits the Bill. I’d be inclined to sign to sign a Schweinsteiger as well to shore up the Defensive Mid positions. This would free up Herrera to go forward into an Attacking Mid position. The acquisition of these two players would allow LVG to implement a 4-2-3-1 with greater effect and give United a better chance of keeping possession of the ball, which LVG led sides thrive upon.
Yeah he is a great player and a good signing if we will sign him without any waste of time, but we still need to reinforce other departments in the team, so that we can be able to challenge other big teams in next season BPL, thank you all.
