Manchester United have had a torrid first half of the season mainly because of defensive concerns.
Spanish goalie David de Gea saved the Red Devils on many occasions and without him United would have struggled big time.

Smalling has been key in United’s central defense in recent months and deservedly the England international has sealed a long term deal with Manchester United.
