It will be fair to say that since the departure of Robin van Persie to Manchester United, Arsenal have lacked a world class goalscorer.
However lately, French international Olivier Giroud has turned it on for the Gunners and is in brilliant goal scoring form since returning from injury.
Still, Arsenal are heavily linked with a move for Argentine star Paulo Dybala who currently plays for Palermo.
According to latest reports, Dybala is ready to accept huge £28.9m move to Arsenal instead of Juventus. The question is, should Arsenal splash the cash to sign Paulo Dybala.
In 28 appearances for a promoted side, Dybala has scored 12 goals and provided 8 assists this season.
Giroud on the other hand has scored 17 goals and provided 4 assists in 26 games for Arsenal this season thus far.
Dybala is surely one for the future but after spending that heavy sum, will he even start ahead of Giroud or be benched?
Arsenal already have top quality playmakers and mainly play one striker up front. Giroud has been tried with Welbeck upfront but that combination has rarely worked.
Moreover, in Welbeck, Arsenal have a decent backup option and not to forget Alexis Sanchez can be utilized there as well.

I do agree that we need to be solidified in the defense and midfield, forward we are okay with what we have don’t forget Theo as well Chamberlain so forward is good but surely our back is lacking and the middle if one gets an injury we struggle to have replacement who is confident.
All we need is a solid midfield. Schneiderlin, Lars Bender or Gundogan are the options to partner Coquelin. Arsenal could have knocked Monaco only if Wenger knew that scoring firepower was vital. Soft passes? You cant score a solid defence. We need agressive hard shots and hunts for goals. Dybala, Muller, El Sharaawy.
