Duo Set to Return for Manchester United vs Aston Villa

BPLManchester United have picked up form at the right time and are now favorites to finish in the top 4.
Champions League qualification is a must for the Red Devils after spending heavily 0n transfers and getting there at the expense of rivals Liverpool will be very pleasing for the United faithful.
Louis van Gaal has finally found a setup in which United are excelling with a lone striker but more importantly, the return of Spanish international Juan Mata has rejuvenated the side as well.
His two goals made the difference at Anfield in the last league game as United came out victorious against Liverpool to complete the double.
United are now 5 points ahead of the merseysiders and must ensure CL qualification or else the season will be regarded as a major failure.
Good news for the Red Devils is that after the international break, the squad will have more strength and depth with the return of two stars.
According to PhysioRoom, star striker Robin van Persie and left full back Luke Shaw are set to return from their respective injuries and may as well be part of the squad to face Aston Villa.
Blind has been performing well at the left back position and Rooney has excelled in the lone striker role so it is highly unlikely that the returning duo will get back straight into starting XI.
Nevertheless, their return is a major boost for the final eight crucial games of the season.

Not praying for RVP to be back-Up Rooney, give us SHAW. No injury in #INTERNATIONALS,, Glory Glory Man utd.

Van Persie is not all that very relevant in the first team.He should be tried in the reserve team.

  3. john ayieko says:

RVP is not that a striker united need at this point but shaw can make it in blind’s position because of his pace so blind should be benched.

  4. Abdul-jalal Muh'd Nura says:

John you are not serious how can you Bench Blind with this incredible performance in both against Tottenham and Liverpool! RVP should be bench but not Blind please allow him to play that role not in the middle.

  5. Obi says:

Rvp shld sit on d bench, also shaw shld b used in second halves. Bt pls allow falcao go,he has lost strenght,nd remember wilson has force which scares defenders.

  6. Noel says:

Shaw will be a welcome return, RVP not so sure I think his use by date is up he has lost his edge and if it is thought that Falcao and Di Maria are not good enough then RVP is certainly not either. The form of Rooney leaves much to be desired as well everyone is saying how great he is playing up front, when where how? He scored one good goal that’s it! !!! his passing has been atrocious he has lost the ball on umpteen ocassions and missed a penalty again Liverpool, which fortunately did n ot have an effect on the game. Cannot believe that players like Falcao, Di Maria with their fantastic track records and ability can all of a sudden become useless does not make sense IS THE PROBLEM NOT ELSEWHERE? ? Mata is another example, wasn’t good enough thinking selling him all of a sudden he is the star of MU why? ?? because he is playing in his best position. What makes us think that if LVG spends another 150 million on more superstars that we are not going to end up in the same boat as the others! !! He can’t say that they will fit into the system better because up to now we have no system! !!! Very disillusioned

We should continue with the formation we had in the Spurs and Liverpool game. We did well against them, particularly in the 1st half. Of course it is good to have Shaw and Wilson back from injury as backup. No need to rush RVP back as Rooney is doing well upfront. Hopefully, we should beat Villa and pocket yet another 3 points.

  8. Barry says:

Hahaha Shaw is verya good trust me,but Rvp has gone sour.let me say this LVG must have a first team that can keep presure and attack with purpose and i think adding shaw and Rojo will help Blind and Jones.
