According to reports, Manchester United have moved in the race to sign Belgian international Kevin De Bruyne.
The former Chelsea star was under utilized by manager Jose Mourinho and then sold to German club Wolfsburg.
Since then, the 23 year old star has taken the Bundesliga by storm with his brilliant performances week in week out.
His contributions in attack is one of the main reasons why Wolfsburg sit second in the league. Not only that he has been impressive in the Europa League as well.
So far, De Bruyne has featured in 37 games for Wolfsburg this season and has directly contributed in 37 goals (14 goals and 23 assists).
As per the Metro link, United’s rivals Manchester City are also interested in securing his services and the price tag mentioned is mammoth 30 million pounds.
Capable of playing anywhere in attack but his most effective position is when he plays in the hole behind the striker, a role that no one has been able to perform consistently well at Man United.
With City interested as well, it will be an intriguing battle between the two rivals to sign De Bruyne. Other top clubs may be interested in summer as well. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds.

Signing too many players is not the best way to succeed as a team. Forget about Pogba signing as it will be an expensive signing. Man U should sign Memphis Depay and Guarin to boost the team for next season. Chicharito, Nani and Angelo Henriquez shoould return from their loan spell. Man U has the 3rd best defensive side in the EPL as the defence will be gradually sticking togethar.
