CONFIRMED – Arsenal Team News versus QPR

Arsenal FCArsenal must continue their winning run in the premier league to hold onto 3rd place with Liverpool and Manchester United chasing.
Also, realistically the Gunners can even over take Manchester City to take second place in the league. Although fans do hope that happens but it is highly unlikely with Arsenal’s ongoing defensive concerns.
Arsenal are the reigning FA Cup champions and face Man United in the quarter finals.
FA Cup is once again the only trophy that they can really win this season as they are virtually out of Europe with an impossible task against Monaco in the second leg.
As far as the team news is concerned, manager Arsene Wenger has provided an update to confirm that Welsh international Aaron Ramsey will be in the squad against QPR.
Coquelin suffered a facial injury against Everton but is likely that he will play against QPR. Wenger stated:

“Aaron Ramsey is back in the squad. From Sunday against Everton, I don’t think we lost anybody. We have to check Francis Coquelin with the medical people this morning in training to see whether he’ll be available or not, but there’s no obvious reason why he should not be available.”

Also Wenger added that Coquelin will definitely need a protective mask to play. Francis has been an important player for the Gunners and his presence is much needed.
Other than that, Flamini and Wilshere are coming along well and are close to returning to first team action.
