Manchester United Close in on Signing $46m Superstar

Robert Lewandowski DortmundAs much as Manchester United need a defender and midfielder in the summer transfer window, they also need a world class striker.
The Red Devils have currently got a brilliant strike force with player like Rooney, Van Persie and Radamel Falcao.
However, under the management of Louis van Gaal, apart from Rooney, no one has been really able to shine.
Robin van Persie is still class but clearly past his best now and in his mid 30s, United should sell him sooner rather than later.
On the other hand, Radamel Falcao has not been a hit under Van Gaal’s double striker system and may as well leave the club after his loan expires at the end of the season.
In such a scenario, United must sign a world class striker and latest reports suggest that Manchester United are closing in to sign Robert Lewandowski at the end of the season for a deal worth $46m.
As per the provided link, the former Borussia Dortmund star is looking to leave the German champions after not settling in well in his first season.
In 30 appearances this season, Lewandowski has only netted 13 goals and provided 8 assists. He scored 28 goals for Dortmund last season.
The 26 year old Polish international is still one of the best strikers in world football and is exactly the kind of striker that can repalce Robin van Persie and Falcao at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal @ best average manager & only chance of putting a winning team together,by spending large amounts of money to acquire top players! No ability to help present group + younger players & cannot understand why he keeps getting top billing with press? Same goes for Chelsea manager, who spends large amounts of money on transfer fees & players salary , but still called Genius?
Give same money to Porch yes I’m Spurs fan / South -Hamptom manager/ Tony Paulas plus several other clubs with small budget & they could buy same quality players for major success, although they are using younger players in their teams success!
