Spurs Set to Sign Striker but is he Really Worth it?

Soldado ValenciaTottenham are actively looking to sign quality players in the winter window to achieve their top 4 objective.
The North Londoners were in great form with sky high confidence after beating league leaders Chelsea. However, Spurs fell to a shocking defeat against Crystal Palace last weekend and must bounce back.
Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to sign another striker for his side and as per Express, a move for Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca is set to be completed.
The  Colombian international has been in decent form for the La Liga side since joining the club but as far as Spurs are concerned, is Bacca really worth it.
Spurs splashed heavy cash under Andre Villas Boas in the summer of 2013 to sign Spanish international Roberto Soldado from Valencia and he was one of the best strikers in Spain at that moment.
Soldado netted 30 goals in 46 appearances in his last season for Valencia and in total 82 goals in 141 appearances.
Carlos Bacca has scored 11 goals in 24 appearances for Sevilla this season and in total 32 goals in 76 appearances for the La Liga side.
Moreover, given that he will turn 29 this year, surely his top years are not ahead of him while Spurs need a long term solution.
In your Opinion, should Spurs sign Carlos Bacca?

no.. this stinks of another Baldini f up.. the mans a nonsense
we need a proven quality striker suited to our way of playing the EPL, something quite different from the Spanish or Italian leagues.
los tout on Bony as Levy is probably waiting on last minute bargain basement deal for some obscure unproven teenage striker ..
good news though is two excellent MF players hopefully coming back from loans in the summer in Pritchard & Carroll .. both streets ahead of most we have in the squad right now

No – he’ll take time to settle and will be an “old” man by the time that happens. Rather go for Danny Inngs much better deal. Or even Berahino but he is expensive!!

Carlos Bacca is a very different type of Striker to Soldado. He likes to run with the ball and take on defenders and is much more aggressive. I’d say he is similar to Saurez. And for this reason I’d say he is worth going for and will be worth the risk. He also is not old. I’d say he is in the prime of his career. He is only 4 months older than Saurez.

Give Porch Chance To Win Cups & Top 4 Finish>>> Or Will’ll Finish Top 10 with no cup win!
