DONE – Arsenal Finally Complete Defensive Midfielder Signing

Arsenal FCArsenal have been in search of a defensive midfielder for a long time but the wait is finally over for the supporters.
With Flamini and Arteta out injured, Gunners have been looking for someone who could provide the back for with much needed cover.
Finally, the North Londoners have completed the signing of defensive midfielder in the form of 17 year old Krystian Bielik.
As per the provided link, the youngster passed his medical yesterday to seal the move to Emirates.
Understandable that fans will not be as exciting by his arrival as they would have been if Arsenal would have signed a proven holding mid player such as the likes of Sami Khedira or William Carvalho.
However, Wenger has assured that he has not really signed Bielik to be used as a make shit player but he will be in the first team squad straight away, even for the all important game against Manchester City today.
Wenger calimed:

“Yes [he will go into the first-team squad],”
“He’s a defensive midfielder, 6ft 2ins, he has a good energy level and technical level. Also, it’s a gamble. But on what we saw it’s worth taking.”

He did state that it could be a gamble but for 2 million pounds, Arsene was always going to take this.
Surely, Wenger should not look to give him a start against champions right away but it will be intriguing to see if he gets game time and can contribute well.

wenger should not buy nursery kids, but adult payers and inparticular a goalkeeper of casillas pedigree, as also pedigree defensive players.. else we will not beat the big boys of the pl . spending time on youngsters, have blinded his competiveness and focus in the premier league with disastrous consequences and not winning any major titles since 2005..
playesr like gibbs , oxlade, metsacker, monreal, scezny arteta too old, not good enough to play for arsenal
wenger has not a single thing since 2005
wasting time in the players buying market is also a concern, as je never delivers with great players.. results have shown

WTF are u on about allen.you cant be a true gonner.we won the F A cup last year.we have been in europe every year under arsene and only missed out on the european cup by two off side goals.as for players being too old,you have named 3 players who have only just got near or just over the age of 20

Arsene is trying but he should focus more on mature good players who can hold their own when going get tough. He should intensify in gettin sami khedira nd a very good keeper

Initially I thought AFC was losing focus, but I have come to appreciate Wenger’s wisdom after watching the Coqs playing against Man city…I think we already have a defensive rock in the midfield…I have also seen Beilik and I think he is superb meaning the future is well secured… Am urging the AFC to go for a CB and give Coqs the DMF role…

Wenger build youngstars but none has proven that the academy is worthy of emulation

  5. Delford Magaya says:

There is no need for Arsenal to look for a Goalkeeper at the moment in time. If Arsenal can look for a central defender or one defensive linkman then the problem is solved, they don’t need to buy a lot of players anymore, one or two are enough.

  6. ywalit Reuben says:

why not buying well known and experienced players like cavani , khedira instead of looking for the cheap young ones.
