Genclerbirligi S.K. is team with good record at “Ankara 19 Mayis Stadium”, as the hosts lost only against Bursaspor here in the previous eight games in the Turkish Super Lig (4-3-1 15-9).
On the other hand, only two of those eight games were against teams that are currently at Top 6 in the standings and what is even more important – the hosts have big problems with injured and suspended players ahead of this clash, especially in attack, where they will have to deal without Irfan Kahveci (midfielder / 3 goals), Nemanja Tomic (right wing / 3 goals) and Bogdan Stancu (striker / 6 goals), who have scored half of the goals for this team in the previous sixteen rounds.
Unlike the previous few seasons, Besiktas J.K. is a real contender for the title this season and I think that the Black-Whites will use the problems of their opponents and will win three points from this visit.
The visitors are still without Cenk Gonen (goalkeeper), Veli Kavlak (midfielder / 1 goal), Jose Sosa (midfielder / 2 goals), Cenk Tosun (striker / 3 goals) and Mustafa Pektemek (striker / 1 goal), but Slaven Bilic has a large squad with many players who can replace them successfully.
