20:45 Anderlecht – Galatasaray

  • Both of these sides come into the game off the back of disappointing league results but the hosts undoubtedly have the greatest incentive to bounce back having salvaged any hope of progression courtesy of a late show at the Emirates last time out.
  • Galatasaray have been pretty dire all season and have no chance of making the knockout stages, though their fans will be expecting to secure third place in the group and a Europa League berth ahead of Wednesday's opponents.
  • Anderlecht will be slight favourites at home and if they show the sort of fight that they did against Arsenal they should have too much for a Gala side lacking any real identity under their new manager.
  • Aleksandar Mitorovic has now scored in three successive matches and will return to the starting line-up having started from the bench at Arsenal, replacing Cyriac up front.
  • The likes of Nuytinck, Defour, N'Sakala and Suarez all remain sidelined, with the Belgian champions having settled on a pretty regular XI in their absence.
  • Anderlecht suffered a shock defeat to Charleroi at the weekend and were perhaps guilty of taking their eye off the ball with this potentially crucial game in mind.
  • Galatasaray

  • Blerim Dzemaili is suspended after picking up his third yellow card of the tournament last time out while fellow central midfielder Felipe Melo is one caution away from a ban.
  • Galatasaray were thrashed 3-0 by Trabzonspor at the weekend and pressure is mounting on Cesare Prandelli after a very unconvincing start to life in Turkey.
  • Wesley Sneijder was rested having played twice on international duty so should return, while the out-of-sorts Burak Yilmaz could be dropped up front.
