18:00 Netherlands – Latvia

I was thinking about taking Netherlands -2.25 but I really do not like their problems in defense. Team in just 3 games has given away already 5 goals, plus another 3 given away just recently against Mexico. In attack though the home side will have a very impressive attacking line – Blind, Affelay, Sneijder, Robben, Huntelaar, Van Persie. Holland is ready to destroy the opponent today and most likely they will do it. The Latvians never have met with such quality in attack in these qualification games. Latvia will have some players back from injuries, but I doubt that it will change a lot, especially in defense. The main man in defense Gorkss is without a club already since the end of last season, Maksimenko sitting on the bench for VVV Venlo. The first goalkeeper Vanins still healing injury. Latvia was very lucky to hold a 1-1 draw against Tukey. The Turks really should have scored 2-3 goals in that match. At the same time I think that Latvia could create something in attack. The midfielder Cauna will be back. Ikaunieks meanwhile was looking very impressive in his debut against Turkey. Rudnevs as well back after dq and at last will have two players behind him who actually can give him a good pass.
