Man United Starting XI Formation with Herrera's Replacement

Michael Carrick CelebratingManchester United are facing more than a few injury concerns at the moment but perhaps the biggest one is that of Ander Herrera.
Midfield is one area where the Red Devils suffered the most last season and to have your key summer midfield signing out injured is a massive blow.
However, Louis van Gaal revealed that Michael Carrick will return to the first team action after the international break.
Carrick is like for like replacement for Ander Herrera and the experienced star would need to step up big time and immediately in the Spaniard’s absence.
Whether or not he will start the next game is another matter but Van Gaal should not have any formation headache and should include Carrick in place of Herrera, although Valencia started in that spot in the last game.
Here is Man United starting XI Formation with Herrera’s replacement Carrick.

The line up is ok.Injury is any where anytime any moment and for anyone as far as this beatful and the most loved game is concern.
So is up to a good MANAGER/COUCH to be prepared and be with plan B all the time, and not keep complaining the moment unpleasant situation happens.
Hope Man U will always be prepared.
    Best Regards
    ManU family.

Carrick sounds like music to ma ears. I think we’ve missed that fellow a lot. Carrick has been playing with average midfielders since Shcolsy’s retirement, now I think he deserves to play with guys that can really giv him the freedom to showcase his talent in full. With the matches we’ve played, our midfield still lacks the fluidity and balance I crave for. I think with Carrick we can get to that level. May be Herrera might end up fighting to get his palce back if LVG likes what he sees.

Carrick is not a like for like for Herrera; he lacks mobility while Ander is good at making runs into the box/ more attacking version. So way i see it is Carrick in DM. On the left beside him would be Blind and right Di Maria. These two would provide more mobility. And when Di Maria pushes up right inverted winger style, he and Mata can actually play alternating free roles. Blind from the left side will support Carrick in the covering.
