Liverpool Steven GerrardLiverpool will face arguably their toughest and biggest game of the season thus far when they host European champions Real Madrid.
Not to forget, the merseysiders absolutely ripped the Spanish giants apart when the two sides met in 2009.

Adding to that, Gerrard also praised former Liverpool hitman Fernando Torres as he was a top quality striker for the Reds, something that they really lack at the moment.

“It’s memories like that (beating Real 4-0), that will live with me forever.”
“With all due respect to the team we beat in 2009, Real Madrid have moved on and progressed since then.”
“The reason we won in 2009 was that we were aggressive, with and without the ball, and had world class talent in Torres.”
“Unfortunately I can’t give away any tactics for tomorrow but we all know we need to perform.”
“We hope to surprise and shock a few people tomorrow night.”

Stevie also talked about the offers he had from Real Madrid to join the Spanish side but he opted to stay with his beloved club.
