Liverpool Player Ratings and Review vs West Brom

Brendan Rodgers LiverpoolLiverpool won their first premier league game since the end of August and they had to do it the hard way against West Brom.
Balotelli was benched for Lambert but the veteran English star was not any improvement. To see him out wide and alone on several occasions was insanity as well.
Mundane performance for the first 40 odd minutes with no real link up play and more importantly, no one was taking any initiative to take on defenders. Until Adam Lallana turned up with brilliant piece of skill getting past three defenders, clever 1-2 with Henderson and calmly slotted the ball home.
Early in the second half, the Baggies were wrongly awarded a penalty for a foul by Lovren that was clearly outside the box.
West Brom equalized from the spot but Liverpool responded immediately with vice captain Jordan Henderson re-gaining Reds’ lead.
Mario, Glen and Lucas were brought on in the second half and after a long time Liverpool fans saw Gerrard playing in attack and the skipper had the same drive.
All in all, vital 3 points before the international break. Liverpool will have some key players returning from injuries as they will look to seriously build up from here.
Here are Liverpool player ratings against West Brom.
