It seems that Manchester United are in no mood of stopping their heavy spending and get back amongst the very best.
Last season, under the management of David Moyes, United could only lure two key stars in the form of Fellaini and Mata.
However, they failed to lure majority of their transfer targets even when they had Champions League.
Now under van Gaal, United have opted to break the bank and pay the asking price to secure the signing of World Class stars and they have succeeded in doing that without European football.
Players like Herrera, Blind, Rojo and more importantly Di Maria and Radamel Falcao are top talents.
The Dutch manager still wants to reinforce the midfield and defense department that were not fully strengthened during the summer.
For that, players like Kevin Strootman of Roma and Mats Hummels of Borussia Dortmund are targeted as the perfect stars to amplify the quality of the squad.
According to reports, Manchester United are all set to offer €62m to sign the quality duo in the next transfer window.
Both Roma and Dortmund are playing Champions League football hence it should be hard for the Red Devils to capture them mid season but still Van Gaal and United are ready to offer big money to make sure they achieve their objective.

Quality players bring honour. LVG has been able to identify our weak area. Strootman and Humell are world class. They are needed. He must never however forget to add the greatest of them all- CR7. We can still win the league.
