Much to the surprise of Arsenal supporters, Arsene Wenger finally broke stance of not signing a senior striker for the squad by luring Welbeck from United.
Although, the arrival of England international is not overwhelming but still one that was badly required at this moment.
Giroud is out injured, Sanogo is not ready while all other options like Walcott, Sanchez and Poldolski are at their best in a free wide role.
Welbeck was never handed regular starts at United and that might change at Arsenal at least until Giroud is out. If he proves himself then he can surely keep the French star out for long.

with these kinds of signing, again our title challenge is up in air. I’ve ever seen Welbeck play for I don’t see what he can add, complement to arsenal. am just sorry for this club. as clubs are buying #costa, Balloteli, falcao, Arsenal is buying welbeck. I can’t see arsenal finish fourth.
