Sanchez Starts – Arsenal's Probable XI vs Crystal Palace

Alexis Sanchez ChileArsenal will face Tony Pulis’ Crystal Palace on the opening day of the Barclays premier league 2014-15 campaign.
The gunners should be considered favorites to beat Palace at the Emirates. They not only have a better squad now but also are in red hot form.
The Fa Cup winners easily dismantled reigning English champions Manchester City in the Commmunity Shield contest and look set for the new campaign.
As far as the lineup is concerned, German trio of Podolski, Ozil and Mertesacker arrived late and are likely to sit out the opening game. Although there have been reports that the big Kaiser defender might start but with Chambers’ impressive showing last weekend, expect the youngster to start as center back.
Other than that, Giroud is expected to come back as a lone striker upfront in place of Yaya Sanogo.
New superstar signing from Barca Alexis Sanchez will make his premier league debut as well. Here is Arsenal’s probable starting XI vs Crystal Palace.

I think we will use the same “Christmas Tree” formation we used against City. Arteta will anchor the midfield, with Wilshere and Ramsey as his box to box partners. Giroud will play the central striking role and Cazorla and Sanchez will play just behind him, taking turns as playmakers in hybrid AMC/Winger/Forward roles.
