Van Gaal Set to Open Chequebook Again to Seal Deal for €37m Star

Louis Van GaalArsenal and Liverpool have been in the running to lure one of the top players available this summer in Barcelona’s Alexis Sanchez.
However, now Manchester United have revived their interest and hope that they can beat the merseysiders and Londoners to sign the versatile playmaker.
The Chilean international had a memorable World Cup and an impressive campaign for the Spanish side last term but still he is expected to leave and premier league remains the likely destination.
As far as Liverpool are concerned, it seems that they are ready to sell Luis Suarez to Barcelona and want Sanchez as part of a player plus cash deal.
Reds are holding out for a €94m fee for Suarez, that might be reduced to some extent if Sanchez is included but whether or not Sanchez wants to join Anfield is not known now.
Arsenal have reportedly matched Barcelona’s asking price but still there are no concrete reports that they are close to signing him.
Man United have already splashed a huge sum of €75m to sign Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera. Now, according to reports, Louis van Gaal is ready to open the chequebook again to seal the deal for €37m rated Alexis Sanchez.
Arsenal and Liverpool have the advantage of offering Champions league football to Sanchez while United are not even in Europe.
However, Manchester United are best placed to pay him a mammoth contract that Arsenal and Liverpool might not match. Will Sanchez ditch Champions League football to play for Man United next season, only time will tell.

Sanchez will need the lure and attraction Champions League like he enjoyed at Barca. Utd, cannot offer that at least for this year. I cannot for the life of me understand why Arsenal is being even mentioned, or what the attraction Sanchez has with Arsenal. However, if that is where he feels he needs to be then so be it. Liverpool has never been, or ever will be, a team that you are coerced into joining. It is one that you are proud to join and want to join.
