Man United Close in on Luring Playmaker with €40m Move

As compared to defense and midfield, the English giants do not really need that heavy reinforcements in the attacking setup but still at least one big name must arrive.
For now, Mata and Rooney are the two world class players for playmaking. Other than that, Januzaj has a big future but inexperienced for now. Valencia and Nani are past their best and Kagawa still needs to prove his worth.
Hence, the Red Devils are also looking to sign a quality attacking playmaker to strengthen attack and one of the names linked lately is Colombian and Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.
According to reports, Manchester United have close in to sign Cuadrado with a huge €40m bid for the Colombian star.
Cuadrado had a brilliant campaign in with the Italian side last season as he scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in 43 appearances.
Adding to that, the 26 year old attacker has been in sensational form at the World Cup finals as well. In four appearances, Cuadrado has provided 4 assists and scored a goal as well.
He alongside James Rodriguez are Colombia’s best hope to beat host and favorites Brazil in the quarter final tomorrow.
United must act swiftly as his top performances will definitely attract other big clubs to make move and Fiorentina will also demand more sum as well.
