Man United and Juventus to Complete Star Deal Today

Whether or not Arturo Vidal signs for Manchester United is another matter but Patrice Evra’s signing for Juventus is imminent.
The French defender who served the Red Devils for 8 long years is expected to complete his move to Juventus today.
According to renowned French source, L’Equipe, Juventus and United agreed the transfer few days back and the former Monaco is formally going to complete the deal today and join the Italian champions.
New United manager Louis van Gaal did not select Patrice Evra for the pre-season tour for obvious reasons and although the French star did sign a contract extension with the club not so long ago, his time at Manchester United will come to an end.
With the arrival of young and talented Luke Shaw for left back position, Evra was running the risk of warming the bench more often than not, hence joining Juventus may as well be the right decision.
The Old Lady has won the title in the last three years and are favorites to win it again next season as well. Moreover, they will be playing in Champions League, a competition that United cannot offer after their horrific campaign last term.
It will be intriguing to see how Juventus will perform now that their influential manager, Antonio Conte has left the club.
Evra will become the second premier league veteran full back to complete move to Serie A this summer as former Chelsea and Arsenal star Ashley Cole completed his move to AS Roma not so long ago.
