Release Clause Met, €29m Star Almost Ties move to Man United

Miranda Atletico MadridManchester United are nearing to seal a deal for quality central defender in Atletico Madrid’s Miranda.
Louis van Gaal has a tough task to replace the legendary Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand, someone like Miranda completely fits the ball.
The strong Brazilian was vital member of Diego Simeone’s squad that won the La Liga crown and formed a brilliant partnership with Diego Godin.
As per previous reports by spanish source AS and further claimed by Daily Mail, Manchester United have already activated the €29m release clause of Miranda to sign him.
Now, the same Spanish outlet reports that the Atletico defender has almost tied move to Manchester United and that will be a major boost for the Red Devils.
Is he the best possible option, may be not because paying that huge mentioned sum for a 29 year old defender does not make business sense when the club is looking for players who can serve for long term.
On the other hand, may be yes because signing a top quality star without playing in Champions League next season can be a major coup for the Old Trafford club.
Man United surely need more than just one center half in to be strong next season as their defense was all over the place last season. Fans will be hoping that United seals Miranda signing as early as possible and pursue other targets.

Just get him (Miranda) first. He’ll be a perfect addition to the squard, we still have many young defenders who could learn from his experience. But LVG should do smething fast about the central midfields, this is our major problem.

That is a lot of momey for a 29yr old who remains with only 2 to 3 yrs world perfomance,,,,
    there ar young nd good players who wil cost even cheaper nd gve quality service to a club for many yrs;

  3. isaiah says:

He will be a good addition with Delay Blind and De Vrij,€29 is not expensive than Shaw’s £30.

  4. Austin onina chigoziem says:

Let’s believe in LVG he’s a real artist

  5. isaac says:

I cannot understand why MANU should go for Miranda, leaving talents, who are strong and do the job better than him i.e:-
    – Exequel Garay of Argentina
    – Ezequel Mangala of France and Porto respectively
    – Blind of Netherlands

That’s one of the major setbacks for not playing in the champions league. To sign those player I admit will be difficult. But I just have faith in LVG. He’s a tactician and besides miranda is good, only that he has few years on top level.

  6. Proof Loriroof says:

Not a bad deal for a start,at least all we have so far are pebbles of speculation, but I think Mangala is the main deal.He is a physical beast of an athlete, got age on his side and he seem interesed in joining. Why aren’t we signing him yet?It will be painful to see him as a future treath in a rival club. The time to act is now!

  7. Ntulume James says:

Man utd is our darling and needs restructuring but in its current state it needs to land- running,so the need to get experienced world-class defenders and mid -fielders to enhance this. Let us put our trust in our tactitian. He’s got what it takes to get our ship at bay

  8. €29million is too much for a 29 year old lets look some younger players mats humels would fit in that position atleast he’s younger than miranda and vamealen wouldnt be too expensive

Let’s leave this to the Master as he’s the one who knows which player fits where into the formation he’s going to adopt.
