Man United can Now Complete Signing Midfield Star for £28m

When Alex Ferguson left Manchester United alongside star midfielder Paul Scholes, the Red Devils needed a top quality midfield star.
Under David Moyes, last summer Man United targeted a host of midfielders such as the likes of Fabregas, Alcantara, Herrera and Khedira etc.
However, they could only sign Fellaini on deadline day and the Belgian has since been average. The scenario remains the same this summer as well as United continue pursuit of quality midfield stars.
The likes of Kroos, Schweinsteiger, Guarin, Carvalho and once again German international Sami Khedira is in the limelight as well.
Manchester United tried to sign him last summer and offered £28m to Real Madrid but the Spanish giants opted to keep him then.
Now, according to Spanish source El Confidencial, Manchester United can now complete the signing of the midfield star for the same £28m this summer.
As per the provided link, United were the last club to be interested in the Los Blancos star and European Champions may now sell him for the mentioned fee.
Khedira missed major part of last season because of injury but recovered in time to be selected for the German World Cup squad.
The injury has not adversely influenced his qualities one bit as Khedira was brilliant against Portugal in Germany’s opening WC game. Not only was he effective in his DM role but also supported the team in attack.
It is worth splashing that heavy amount on Khedira but will the player consider a move from European Champions to a team who will not even feature in Europe, highly unlikely.
