Man United made Official €33m Bid for Star after Final Game

Luke Shaw SouthamtonManchester United have been tracking Southampton defender Luke Shaw for a long time as they look to sign him this summer.
The Red Devils might lost veteran defender Patrice Evra in summer and nevertheless, the French star has been average this season and United need to reinforce their defense.
According to reports, it is understood that Manchester United have made an official €33m bid for Luke Shaw right after the final game of the season against Southampton.
As per the provided TalkSport link.

“United are understood to have made the bid immediately after their 1-1 draw at Southampton”

The timing perhaps should not be considered perfect as the Saints players were thanking the supporters after the final home game and it may as well prove to be Shaw’s last for them.
Shaw has been the best left back in the country this season as he made the PFA team of the year and was consistent all year.
The teenage star is also favorite to make Roy Hodgson’s World Cup squad for Brazil next month.
The mentioned price tag of 33 million Euros is very high for a teenage star but United surely think that he is worth it and the player will serve them for years to come.
However, the bid does not confirm anything, rivals may jump in for his signature as well. We shall see how the saga unfolds.
