Brighter days are ahead for Manchester United and their fans after a disaster first half of the season and start to new year.
Having secured the signing of Chelsea’s best player for the past two years Juan Mata, the English champions are determined to add more top players in the winter transfer window.
United are 14 points behind the league leaders Arsenal and quite frankly have no chance of retaining their title.
However, the major concern is that they are 6 points behind the last Champions League place which is currently occupied by their arch rivals Liverpool.
Therefore, Moyes is looking to sign more quality players to help United get back to where they belong.
Mata adds to the creativity and attacking threat for United, now the Red Devils badly need a central midfielder who can dominate midfield battle and score goals as well.
According to Mirror, Manchester United are running the rule to sign Newcastle United star Yohan Cabaye who has been fantastic this season.
Everyone is aware of the fact that United are desperate for new signings in the closing days of the January transfer window and thus the clubs are likely to demand hefty fees.
David Moyes will have to pay more than €24 million to hire the services of the French star who is also wanted by Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.
His qualities are undeniable not only in midfield but he gets forward to score and create goals as well. Cabaye was the one to score and beat United at Old Trafford this season.
He has directly contributed in 10 goals (7 goals, 3 assists) in 19 premier league appearances this season and will be a top signing for the Red Devils if they are able to lure him in the coming days.
