Arsenal are currently flying high at the moment as they lead the toughest league in the world and look likely to end their long trophy drought this season.
Understandable that in such a scenario, words against Arsene Wenger will not make much sense but gunners still need certain improvements or else they may as well lose the title to the big guns like Manchester City and Chelsea.
The signing of Mesut Ozil on deadline day changed the mood of all the fans but everyone knew then and knows now that Arsenal badly need a striker.
Just that the results have been fruitful, hence the out cry of fans is not that loud but that does not change facts.
For now, Arsenal do not have a world class goal scorer such as the likes of Suarez, Aguero, Negredo or their former captain Robin van Persie. Moreover, they do not even have depth in that department.
Yet, Arsenal’s boss is making a massive mistake looking for more attacking playmakers and central midfielders when he should really sign a striker soon.
Arsenal already have quality depth in the attacking and central midfield department and there is no need for Wenger to look for players like Draxler and Sergi Roberto when Gunners have Ozil, Cazorla, Rosicky, Gnabry, Podolski, Wilshere, Ramsey, Flamini, Arteta and co in the midfield department.
Moreover, the significant fact is that majority of them are versatile, capable of playing in more than one position.
Whereas in the striking department, they have Giroud and Bendtner, hardly any world class quality and that may as well cost them the title in the end.
If Arsenal do have funds, they must invest them in luring a clinical goal scorer and do it at the earliest as the transfer window is not far from closure.

Yes true and if there is no noise from the fans he will not sign any striker and that will cost the team .I do not understand the reason behind the un willingness to unvest in a true striker giroud is a holding forward not a decisive striker next season all the top teams will strengthen their teams further we wont have this chance for the next 8 seasons
he want to be seem doing things his way. even the players are looking for a new striker. without one they would loose fate.
There is no doubt Wenger is try to sign a striker, albeit, on short term ( on loan). Then next summer window he will try to sign a world class striker. The type of strikers he and the fans want are NOT available now because, either their clubs do not want to sell them, the players themselves don’t want to move now or they are still involve in Champions League.
There is a lot involve before a transfer actually takes place and that we need to understand.
We all know how much Mr AW loves the winter transfer window…Arsenal needs a striker with the calibre of Cavani or Suarez to really be a game changer for them. With just about a week till the close of this window let’s keep our fingers crossed…we have one of the strongest, most consistent collection of midfielders in the world and AW wants to add another? Our focus should be a striker and a defender.
