Chelsea’s Three Major Concerns

Chelsea’s Three Major ConcernsJose Mourinho’s unbeaten league record at Stamford Birdge might have ended if Ramires had not won a late late penalty to secure a point.
The Portuguese manager has surely come back in a more competitive league as compared to his first coming in 2005 and troubles are going to be there.
However, the Blues struggles against oppositions show that there are key issues. In my opinion, there are three major concerns.
The Old Guard
John Terry and Frank Lampard of 2005 are long gone and Mourinho cannot rely on the veterans as he used to do back then.
Especially Lampard, who is struggling to cope with the pace of the game. Unable to hold ball under pressure and losing leadership that helped Chelsea win midfield battles over the years.
Striker Dilemma
Although, Eto’o and Torres have started scoring regularly lately still they have shown no consistency. Hit one or two games and then utter flop next.
Mourinho surely misses the Drogba of 2005, even the current one is performing better than the mentioned Chelsea duo. Biggest mistake, Lukaku was loaned when he was the best Blue striker last season.
The stuttering form of strikers is again the reason why Chelsea are linked with more.
Unable to Find Best Attacking Combination
Chelsea have many top quality midfielders at their disposal. Others really dream of having that much depth and quality in the attacking midfield department yet Mourinho has been unable to find the best combination between them.
The likes of Hazard, Mata, Oscar, Willian, Schurrle are quality playmakers. Even De Bruyne is highly talented but Mourinho is still shifting combinations every game. He has still not found the best attacking 3 to play behind the striker.
Only Oscar is the one he has complete faith in as a number 10. Rest he keeps on shuffling.

Me as a chelsea fan believe that the conbination of oscar, willian , andre behind the striker is great, they’re fast in either attacking or defending. With more pace.
Hazard for me is now deep in form and mata can not cope defensively. Mikel should be constant in the midfield…… John terry is not yet bad.
