Manchester United and Chelsea have won their respective opening games of the new season but the blues are still hoping to sign Red Devil star Wayne Rooney. The England international came on from the bench in United’s 4-1 thrashing of Swansea and provided an assist.
Even though Rooney played well but he was not all happy and did not even celebrate with the team mates. Nevertheless, Moyes is adamant that he will not Rooney leave. On the other hand Chelsea are now preparing €47m move for marquee Signing (ESPN).
Mourinho is hoping that this final bid can lure the former Evertonian striker who seems unhappy at Manchester United.
Chelsea won their opening premier league fixture against Hull City yesterday. All the attackers played really well except the one and only Fernando Torres.
Despite having a few options upfront, Mourinho wants Wayne Rooney as his marquee signing this summer and one that will propel the blues to premier league title.
Manchester United did not do any good business this summer and will not be willing to let one of their star players leave to strengthen a rival.
In the coming few days, Chelsea will look to make one final push to somehow sign Rooney from United. In case they fail, they will have time to find a quality alternate. Chelsea have to move quickly as the transfer window will shut soon.

It seem like chelsea should move on with the Rooney saga and get an alternative ASP, or we risk fitting for top 4 finish, cause Torres and Ba won’t meet the club demands, Lukaku needs more experience as his not ready for top club football. So chelsea should move fast or go low.
What a joke! We don’t need any striker, our current strikers are ok. If you think torres was at fault in the last match and many others then you need to see a doctor! How many pass was given to him? Ba was deadly when he was in newcastle so what happen to him now? Even rooney will never score.

Chelsea need a striker and a midfield player that can control the game, Torres, Ba are not prolofic enough while Ramires and Lampard as the deeper central midfielders are not suited to those roles
Torres was brilliant in the last match. He was really good in europa last season. He will deliver his best to meet the club’s demands. Because he will use every opportunity to shine so that he can secure his spot in the world cup squad.
I think rooney is the best for chelsea now because of his premiership experience
