Jose Mourinho Ready to Pay $72.3million to Secure Signing for Manchester United in Summer

Manchester United have been looking to sign a new left back for quite some time and they may finally end up getting one but in the summer transfer window.
In the current campaign, Young, a natural winger, has mainly started in the left back position for United and lately, he has been banned for three games by the FA.
Luke Shaw has never been able to impress for the Red Devils since moving to Old Trafford back in 2014 and he should be sold. Darmian has been a bench warmer as well.

If reports (TuttoSport) in the media are anything to go by then Mourinho is ready to pay the release clause of 60 million euros ($72.3million) to secure the signing of Napoli’s Faouzi Ghoulam.
The Italian source have claimed that Napoli have reached an agreement with Benfica to lure Grimaldo, who would arrive at the end of the season.
It is mentioned that Alex’s signing opens the door for Ghoulam to leave in the direction of United, where Jose would give the consent to sign the Algerian defender by activating his release clause.
The 26-year-old African star is a solid left back, who has been effective in the attacking third as well. This season, so far, in 17 appearances for the Serie A leaders, Faouzi has directly contributed in 7 goals (2 goals and 5 assists).
