Liverpool have lost their second friendly contest of the summer after Italian side AS Roma defeated them 2-1 on the night.
The Reds boss made several changes in the starting XI that featured in the victory against AC Milan.
New summer signing Alex Manninger started in goal, Milner started in the midfield and Emre Can started his first game after returning from his break.
As expected, the Merseysiders had majority of the possession (61%), however, Roma created more clear cut chances and were clinical in front of goal.
For Liverpool, young attacker Sheyi Ojo scored the only goal from close range. The starlet was impressive vs the Rossoneri as well. On the other hand, Wisdom had a very bad game.
More than a few changes were made in the second half and Andre Wisdom was brought on by Jurgen Klopp.
The 23-year-old England international was average on the night and and was heavily criticized by the Liverpool supporters on social media site twitter.

It has come to pass as I expected. Some weeks ago when LFC had impressed against make shift teams and got applauded, I suggested that they put up such performances against high profile teams before we start having confidence on the team’s quality. There is over a week left and before it gets late let’s go positive and bring in tested defenders to the team. Our attack is not good enough at the moment. Why not make defense rock solid. If we will not be scoring at will, why should we concede?
Honestly, some past Liverpool coaches really left us a bad taste with the caliber of players they brought to the club. But klopp, what is Wisdom and Randall still doing in Liverpool? Both are not even fit to be in a nationwide championship side how much more epl. look at sluggish Lucas(termed the only Brazilian not skilful) in our defensive midfield, Welsh xavi, skirtel( the only man who defends by holding opponents shirts), among other mediocre players and you’ll understand why Liverpool has been average in many years. Below the table clubs beat us a will! So sad. klopp pls get rid of Randall and wisdom, they don’t belong to epl. Also, please don’t be over reliant on Clyne too, he’s just an average right back, a bit upgrade on Moreno.
