€24m Star Comments about Man United Move: Not Hummels

Louis van Gaal had a successful campaign with Netherlands during last year World Cup as the Dutch finished in third place.
One of the main reasons behind that brilliant campaign was Holland’s rock solid defense under the management of Van Gaal.
The Dutch manager played a 3 at the back system with De Vrij, Vlaar and Martins Indi as the central defenders and were highly effective.
Sadly for United fans, Van Gaal has not been able to fix the defense with that system and clearly needs top quality players.
In such a scenario, United are interested in top central defenders and one of them is Van Gaal’s very own Stefan de Vrij who plays for Lazio in Serie A.
The Dutch international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and has now commented about the club as he stated:

“I do not know anything about Manchester United’s interest in me, but I’m used to the media linking me with other teams.”

“Meanwhile, I’m very happy at Lazio, everything’s going well and I’m just focusing on this.”

United can surely pay the €24m star more wages and a chance to re-united with old boss Louis van Gaal.

Whether or not United’s interest in him will get more serious, only time will tell.
