Brendan Rodgers seems to be in some kind of hurry as Liverpool have sealed yet another deal already to bring star striker to Anfield. Having signed Kolo Toure on a free not so long ago, the merseysiders have all but signed Celta Vigo’s starlet Iago Aspas.
Spanish paper Marca, reports that Liverpool have agreed a deal with the Spanish club to hire the services of the 25 year old forward much to the delight of thel supporters. Aspas scored 12 league goals in his first season in Spanish top flight and maintains a brilliant scoring record for Celta Vigo.
As per Marca:
“Liverpool has reached an agreement in principle to take Iago Aspas from Celta to Anfield. The Vigo-based outfit is set to receive €8.5-9.5 million for the youngster, depending on add-ons, while the player himself will pocket a €1.5-million-a-year salary”
The Merseysiders have acted swiftly in the transfer market even though there remains a month until the international transfer season will open.
Rodgers is indeed looking to get all his targets as soon as possible so that the entire squad will be ready and prepared for the start of next season.
Aspas is a versatile talent with pace and dribbling skills. Adding to that he is a clinical finisher as well. Such traits make him perfect for Brendan Rodgers’s side and the Spanaird can be utilized both on the wings and also as a central forward.
Liverpool are linked with many stars and the way they are going, it seems that the fans can expect a few more signings coming to the club sooner rather than later.

We have GOT to sign Mikhatrayen as soon as possible! Before other clubs start a bidding war, we can not win, for him. Him and Popadopulous. Sign those two and most fans I think will be delighted!! I’d prefer Mikhatrayen to Erikson too! 23 goals in like 28 or so matches?!! And yes, I know it’s only the Ukrainian League. I am an LFC fan but for once a part of me will be routing for Asernal. I almost always like a manager as well as the team at the same. This LFC manager can’t conjure anything close to top four and if liverpool do not arrest the situation this summer by getting it right this time, they may have .steep slide downwards and only fools will be suprised.
