Stick with Giroud or Sign a New Striker?

Stick with Giroud or Sign a New Striker?Having secured Champions league football against all odds, Arsenal will have to strengthen the squad to compete with the very best next season. Like every year, top players are linked with the club and many of those have been strikers this time around.
The reason for that is because the gunners clearly missed a world class striker up front after Robin van Persie left for Manchester United. Giroud replaced the Dutchman and hence the expectations of the fans were sky high. However, the French striker could only score 11 league goals for Arsenal last season.
The question, should Arsenal stick with Giroud or sign a new striker?
Giroud might have topped the goal scoring charts in the French League, but a few can replicate the same form coming from abroad that soon in the premier league. None can blame the Frenchman for not being really prolific in his first season in perhaps the toughest league in the world.
Even Robin van Persie had only one outstanding season with Arsenal but sadly for the fans, it was his last one as well. Nevertheless, Giroud added a lot to the side in terms of buildup play and setting up goals as he provided no less than 11 assists last season.
Strikers such as the likes of Falcao, Jovetic, Higuain and others have been speculated to be linked with Arsenal but as it always happens with gunners, with the passage of time the rumors remain rumors and Arsenal look for cheaper options.
Now all are reportedly linked elsewhere with Falcao close to joining Monaco while the other two are closely tracked by Italian champions Juventus.
Arsenal missed a top quality forward badly last season and the fans called for reinforcements when the gunners were playing poor football in the first half of the campaign. Knowing that the funds will be (hopefully) available to sign quality players, Wenger may look for an out and out striker who could provide 20 odd league goals a season.
Wenger also claimed that the North Londoners will be targeting premier league title next season and for that to happen Arsenal surely need a world class goal scorer. Will/Can he rely on Grioud?
There is no other argument that Giroud deserves time but will Arsenal fans be patient and wait for him to hit form knowing that they have not won a title in eight long years and are getting desperate for silverware every passing season.

Just fill in the 4 gaps with 4 top players. How about cesar williams capoue rooney and we would still have £10m over plus whatever we can raise from our fire sale of deadwood fabianski mannone santos djourou denilson diaby park chamakh bendtner gervinho.
Then how about showing some confidence in the youth by handing first team numbers to every player born 1993 or before. At the very least it will raise their profile and give them a real boost. I’m talking the likes of miquel yennaris martinez afobe aneke eisfeld campbell ryo frimpong. By the way I’m loving the thought of that british team with williams and rooney in it. Sure vermaelen coquelin szczesney aren’t british but 8 brits would certainly give us all a good feel.
