The England international has been the best player for Sunderland this season but unfortunately, he could not help the team survive relegation. With the interest so heavy, the Black Cats will most likely sell him but they want a huge fee for their prized asset.
Recently, David Moyes has claimed that Pickford will only leave the club for a huge price (Sunderland Echo). He stated:

“If he goes – then it would need to be a really, really big price. It would not be a cheap price if anybody wants Jordan Pickford.”

The former Manchester United boss also praised the goalie and claimed

“I think Jordan is a big, big talent, I really do.”

Jordan’s current contract with Sunderland will expire in 2020 and as per the provided Telegraph link, an offer worth 25 million pounds plus bonuses would be hard to reject for the relegated side.

Liverpool need a new goalkeeper in the summer transfer window, that much is evident after the inconsistent performances of Karius and Mignolet.
Klopp must solve the goalkeeping conundrum once and for all and reports have linked Liverpool with numerous goalies.
Back in November 2016 (Star), the Reds were linked with £20m rated ($25million) Sunderland shot stopper Jordan Pickford. If the latest reports are anything to go by then Liverpool are seriously eyeing the 22-year-old player.
According to Telegraph, City are interested in signing Pickford, Liverpool are also regularly scouting the England international but they may move to sign Joe Hart next summer.
Hart has won the PL Golden Glove award four times but last season he was way too inconsistent for the Sky Blues and new boss Guardiola opted to loan him out to Torino last summer.
On the other hand, Pickford has been one of the best goalies in the Premier League this season in spite of playing in a relegation threatened team with a poor back line. Moyes highly rates the youngster and heavily praised him by starting (Telegraph):

“I’ve said before, in the process of building a club up, you have to sell people, but I hope it’s not Jordan. He’s been exceptional and most people see him as one of the brightest young talents around.”

Liverpool need a goalkeeper for the long term and Joe is past his best. On the other hand, Pickford’s best years are ahead of him.

Can was criticized a lot by the supporters on social media but he was not alone. Liverpool’s current longest serving player Lucas was slated as well.
The Brazilian international was probably important 5-6 years ago. In recent years, he has been notorious for gifting opposition teams needless free kicks in dangerous positions.
Yesterday, with 12 minutes remaining, Lucas was brought on in place of Sturridge to provide defensive cover but he failed big time.
Moreover, whether or not he touched Defoe, he was still responsible for the foul that gave Sunderland a late free kick just outside the box.

Manchester United defeated Sunderland 3-1 at Old Trafford and summer signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were both on the score sheet.
The former Dortmund playmaker scored a wonder goal against Tottenhem Hotspur few weeks back but suffered an ankle injury in the same fixture.
The Armenian international recovered and returned for the Red Devils yesterday and scored an even better goal.
Mkhitaryan was introduced by Mourinho in the 63rd minute of the game when the Red Devils were leading 1-0. Twenty minutes later, Zlatan doubled the lead and in the 86th minute, he provided a wonder ball to set up Mkhitaryan’s goal.
