Last night, Liverpool stars Firmino and Coutinho started for Brazil in the World Cup qualifying game against Uruguay and helped the team win the contest.
The duo were involved in their team’s second goal. Philippe found the ball on the right wing, eased past one defender and then passed the ball to Firmino.
Roberto brilliantly turned and drilled a left footed shot, which rebounded in the path of Paulinho, who made no mistake in slotting the ball home.
The Samba stars came from behind to win 4-1 on the night. Neymar scored one and the former Tottenham midfielder netted a hat-trick to earn all three points for the visitors. The Selecao are leading the WC qualification table with 30 points in 13 games.
The video of Brazil’s second goal is provided below.

The Senegalese international has been brilliant for the Reds so far.
On the other hand, the Merseysiders let go two strikers in the form of Mario Balotelli and Christian Benteke but did not reinforce their strike-force in the summer window.
Now that even Danny Ings is out injured and there are rumors going on in the media over Daniel Sturridge’s future, Klopp is looking to sign a new striker.
According to reports, a certain Uruguayan international is in the limelight in the form of 16-year-old Gustavo Viera (The Sun). He currently plays Uruguayan side Liverpool.
As per the provided Sun link, the likes of Liverpool, Everton and Barcelona are looking to sign the Charruas starlet. Moreover, despite interest from elsewhere, PL move could be on the cards as his agent is English based Nick Maytum from TMG Football.
The teenage striker is a talented prospect but surely he cannot replace someone like Sturridge at the moment. Klopp must look to sign a proven quality center forward if the former Chelsea star does depart in the winter transfer window.
England international and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has been linked with a move to the Emirates but there are chances that the deal may not go through.
If that happens then Wenger has already lined up Edinson Cavani and the Uruguayan international will be handed a deal that will make him earn £120k-a-week ($171,000-a week) (Express).
As per the provided Express link, the “stunning” (Goal) striker has rejected a mammoth deal from China and wants to move to the Premier League.
While Vardy has only had one brilliant campaign so far, Cavani has had few immense seasons and the Gunner supporters will not be disappointed if they miss out on the Leicester Star and lure the PSG striker.
The 29-year-old star has netted 267 goals in his career and will be a world class addition in Wenger’s squad.
Here is how Arsenal will line up with Cavani if he joins the North Londoners.
Uruguay have been toothless upfront in the absence of suspended star Luis Suarez who is arguably country’s best player.
Barca star helped the club win treble last season but unfortunately was helpless for the national side as Chile eliminated the Uruguayans from the competition, beating them 1-0 on the night.
A late goal from Juventus star Isla proved to be the difference for Chile but hosts’ main threat was provided by Arsenal’s player of the season Alexis Sanchez.
The former Barcelona star was not clinical in front of goal as his shooting was wayward but his pace and trickery were a constant source of menace for Uruguay to deal with. Sanchez was deservedly awarded the man of the match prize.
Chile will now face the winner of Bolivia and Peru. Not to forget, Chile ripped Bolivia apart 5-0 in their group stage contest.
Blues for the Blues as the teams in yellow progressed yesterday and when hosts and favorites Brazil needed luck to qualify, Colombians did it with sheer brilliance, especially from one man, James Rodriguez.
It can be safely said that last night’s contest between Colombia and Uruguay was a James Rodriguez show as the 22 year old was unstoppable.
He probably scored the goal of the tournament with a brilliant chest control and stunning volley to open the scoring. Second was a tap in from close range.
Uruguay had no bite without their talisman Luis Suarez and they missed him big time as no one could unlock Colombia’s rigid defense.
Here is the video of the goals provided below.

Luis Suarez, the man who cannot stay away from controversies is also the man who is known to be a serial winner.
Liverpool supporters thought that perhaps his behavioral problems are fixed after the Ivanovic bite ban but sadly that was not the case.
After his latest antics at the World Cup and a hefty ban handed by Football’s governing body, many fans have turned against him again and want him out of Liverpool.
On the other hand, there are sets who want him to stay because he is way too important for the Anfield side.
He missed 5 opening league games last season and ended top scorer by some margin. He might miss 9 this time but still no one would count him out to finish top scorer again. Such is the quality of Luis Suarez.
Still, the links with Barcelona are growing and the Uruguayan international might be heading towards exit door as Liverpool look for different top targets.
No matter what wrong he has done, Luis Suarez deserves a fitting farewell from Liverpool for all the right reasons when he departs.
Some fans claim that his reputation has damaged the image of Liverpool but that is not true, because the brand/club is too big and historic to be dragged through mud by the acts of one or two players. United had Cantona but in the end success is all that mattered and all that what fans remember.
About embarrassment, think about how many times he has saved Liverpool from on-field embarrassment single-handedly as well. Without him, there would have been no title charge last season, and may be no CL qualification as well.
There is no direct replacement for Luis Suarez. You cannot really find a player who will run to win the ball in the very first minute and even in the final minute when his team is winning comfortably.
Liverpool fans should cherish one of the best players they have witnessed on Anfield while he is still there. He has given more joy than pain and more than anyone else, Luis is the one who has suffered.
When he leaves, Suarez must get all the respect he deserves.

Uruguay’s win over Italy meant that the Azzurri crashed out of World Cup in group stages for the second successive time.
Diego Godin’s late winner sealed all three points for the South Americans who qualified as group runner ups behind high flying Costa Rica.
However, Uruguay may as well suffer a major setback before the Knock-out rounds as star striker Luis Suarez is found in yet another controversy.
FIFA will investigate an off the ball incident during the game where Suarez seems to have bitten Italian and Juventus defender Chiellini.
The Liverpool talisman was single handedly responsible to dismantle England scoring twice a few days back. Against Italians, he was a frustrated figure mostly because of Azzurri’s rigid and solid defense.
Football’s governing body are likely to hand Suarez a hefty ban which will probably mean that his World Cup might be over.
However, For some reason, bans and fines have done nothing to help Luis Suarez’s controversial side. Some players have that habit of headbutt, pushing, elbowing opponents to an extent but Suarez case is baffling. It seemed that he did nibble Chiellini and then immediately realized what he has done and acted as if he is hurt.
To fix Luis Suarez’s biting problem for good, something new should be tried. Not to forget he served 7 game ban for biting Bakkal and more recently served a 10 game ban in England for biting Chelsea’s Ivanovic.
The problem may as well be psychological. To do such act of madness not once, not twice but three times says it all. If not and it is physical then fix his teeth, get him braces or new crowns to stop that urge of biting players.
At the moment, there are not many players better than Luis Suarez, and that is exactly the reason why it is sad for a player like him to be involved in so many controversies.

England are on the brink of elimination from the World Cup 2014 after losing their second group game and now depend on results from other fixtures to survive.
All the pre-match talk was about how England will/can stop Uruguay and Liverpool talisman Luis Suarez.
However, the European Golden Boot winner was unstoppable even though he was not fully fit. Suarez netted two brilliant goals to earn all three points for National side and kept their World Cup dream alive.
A shock defeat in the first fixture against Costa Rica means that they still have a big task left against Italy in the final group game.
No points for guessing who the man of the match was as the Liverpool superstar showed the world why he is one of the best.
On the other hand, the flop of the game was none other than another Liverpool star, England captain Steven Gerrard.
Although, a lot of blame goes to England’s mindless defending as well but Gerrard was of no use in his Liverpool role for England side.
He was effective for the Reds as a regista but was surely their weak link in midfield as far as defense is concerned. Yet Roy Hodgson opted to use him there and it backfired.
Gerrard put in a half hearted tackle, an unsuccessful one, that led to Uruguay’s opening goal and was responsible for the second as his header fell to an unmarked Luis Suarez when England’s defense went asleep.
By some distance, this was the worst World Cup match Gerrard played in 3 tournaments. England need a miracle to progress but they really do not deserve to go any further in the competition.

The Luis Suarez transfer saga is known to everyone as last summer the Uruguayan international wanted out of Liverpool.
Former Ajax star was frustrated mainly because of the fact that Liverpool were not in the Champions League and deserved to play at that level.
Now, his dream seems to be getting fulfilled and Suarez is loving life at Anfield.
It is a huge turnaround which is not only assured by Suarez but also by his compatriot Edinson Cavani.
Last summer Cavani stated:

“I think Arsenal was not Luis’s dream move, maybe if it had been Real Madrid then it would have been a different outcome – but of course Madrid were concentrating on a different target this summer.
“It is his dream club – and a club he thinks is worth waiting for.”

Cavani who signed for French club PSG for €65m last summer shares completely different thoughts now after talking to Luis Suarez lately which is a brilliant news for Liverpool.
Edinson claims that Suarez’s future is at Liverpool and he is really happy at merseyside. The Uruguayan claimed:

“I speak with Luis most weeks – and he is loving life at Liverpool,”
“When I speak with him now it sounds like a different man to that of last season. You can hear it in his voice how happy he is compared to last season.
“He has always loved Liverpool – things have not always gone well for him in England – and he told me how humbled he was by the way the club and the fans stood by him.”

Moreover, Cavani also explained that his decision to leave last summer was never a financial one but it was always the case of playing with a team that matches his ambitions and Reds are now a perfect match.

“All he wanted was to be at a team which matched his ambition, where he could play Champions League Football, and where he can compete for major trophies.
“Now Liverpool are in that place he is happy to stay.”

This brilliant news is massive for Liverpool and negates the ongoing rumors that Suarez will be leaving next summer.

Luis Suarez has been in red hot form for Liverpool since returning from his ban and wants to continue firing for the Reds.
The Uruguayan has to feature in upcoming FIFA World Cup Play offs against Jordan and as per the rules of the governing body, Uruguay could have called him back as a player has to return 5 days prior to fixture.
However, according to Liverpool Echo, Suarez will feature against Fulham as he does not want to miss the game at Anfield next Saturday.
As per the provided link:

“Echo understands that the prolific frontman told boss Oscar Tabarez he wanted to play for the Reds before linking up with the squad in Turkey on Saturday and his request has been granted”

Liverpool fans will be delighted with the news that their star player will be available for the fixture
Perhaps more delighted that he convinced Uruguay’s Boss Oscar Tabarez just to play the game for merseysiders first before joining international duty.
Uruguay are firm favorites to qualify for the World Cup against the Asian qualifiers Jordan in the play offs.
Reds are also considered favorites to beat Fulham on Saturday and the inclusion of Suarez will make it more difficult for the visitors.
