The game against the struggling Huddersfield comes in the perfect moment for the hosts who should be looking to get back on the winning way.

Huddersfield Town were lucky to escape relegation last season but are clear favourites for the drop this year. ‘The Terriers’ are winless in 9 Premier League games whilst their last away win came at the end of February in the game against West Brom. David Wagner’s side has scored just 2 goals in 5 fixtures so far but maintained a good defensive performance apart from the games against the champions Manchester City and current Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Leicester City vs. Huddersfield Town Odds

Leicester City are the clear favourites in this clash with winning odds of 1.55. The Draw is priced at 3.80 and win for the away side is valued at 6.50.
Leicester City Win – 1.55
Draw – 3.80
Huddersfield Town – 6.50

Leicester City vs. Huddersfield Town Head to Head

6 of Leicester City’s last 7 games have ended in over 2.5 goals scored.
Huddersfield Town have lost 4 of 5 visits at King Power Stadium.
Huddersfield Town have failed to win in their last 9 Premier League games.

Leicester City vs. Huddersfield Town News

Matthew James is the only unavailable player in Leicester City’s squad after picking up a calf injury last season.
Jonathan Hogg is missing for Huddersfield Town after receiving a red card in the game against Cardiff City on 25 Aug 2018. Juninho Bacuna is unavailable for selection after picking up an injury in his debut for the team against Stoke City at the end of last month.

Leicester City vs. Huddersfield Town Predictions

Huddersfield Town are well-known for their defensive performance. David Wagner’s side is really hard to break, but our opinion is that the hosts have the qualities needed to get the 3 points on Saturday. Leicester should have no problems in achieving a narrow win against Huddersfield Town so we are backing Leicester City to Win and Under 3.5 Goals.
Leicester City to Win and Under 3.5 Goals – 2.10

Chelsea witnessed their slender Champions League hopes diminish as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Huddersfield Town. The Blues had the vast share of chances and possession during the game but ultimately they were frustrated by David Wagner’s side, who secured their Premier League status for another season.

Two things we learned:
Huddersfield retain their Premier League status: The Terriers have had the toughest run-in with games against Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal and many would have predicted to come up with nothing from their fixtures. However, Wagner’s team dug deep to secure a rare 0-0 draw against the league champions and this has been followed by another solid defensive performance at Stamford Bridge. The draw against Chelsea has assured their top-flight status for another campaign and they can now seek to end their season on a high with a home victory over Arsenal, who have failed to win a single away league game in 2018. The north London side have the fifth worst away record in the division and Huddersfield could pile on the misery in Arsene Wenger’s farewell game as the Gunners boss.
Antonio Conte’s uncertain future with Chelsea: The Italian has not been able to guide Chelsea anywhere close to the Premier League title this term and his chances of staying appear slim to say the least. Chelsea are looking certain to miss out on Champions League football for next season and it would take a huge effort from Brighton & Hove Albion to beat Liverpool in the final day of the season for them to have any chance of making the top-four. Conte’s mood has not been the best since the previous international break and even a FA Cup final triumph over Manchester United may not be sufficient to guarantee his stay, based on owner Roman Abramovich’s demands from his managers, which includes regular participation in the Champions League.

As far as Arsenal’s team news is concerned, star playmaker Mesut Ozil is ill at the moment and Iwobi is injured (PhysioRoom).
In such a scenario, we can expect Jack Wilshere to get the nod and start with Alexis Sanchez in the attack behind lone center forward Alexandre Lacazette. Fortunately, the North Londoners do not have any suspension concerns.
The likes of Kolasinac and Bellerin should start in the wing-back positions and the likes of Ramsey and Xhaka should start in the center of the park for Arsene Wenger.
As far as the defense is concerned, Shkodran Mustafi, Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal will probably start in front of Petr Cech.
Here is Arsenal’s strongest possible 3-4-2-1 starting XI vs Huddersfield.
Two days back, we predicted Liverpool’s starting XI for today’s fixture but we expect two key changes to be made in that team.
Star playmaker Philippe Coutinho is out injured due to an abductor issue and we can expet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to replace him.
Also Read: Liverpool Ready Contract Until 2022 to Sign Emerson
The England international should partner the likes of Firmino and Salah in the attack. Ox has mainly warmed the bench since moving to Anfield and now is his chance to impress the boss.
On the other hand, Georginio Wijnaldum is fit to face Huddersfield and in such a scenario, the Dutch international might replace James Milner in the starting XI to start with Emre Can and Jordan Henderson in the midfield.
Here is Liverpool’s probable 4-3-3 XI vs Huddersfield.
Next up, the Reds will face Huddersfield on Saturday and Klopp’s men must bounce back to earn all three points. Not to forget, Wagner’s men defeated high flying Manchester United last weekend.
As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, Jurgen must make key defensive changes after the horror show at Wembley last Sunday.
Also Read: Klopp Loves €173,000-a-week Star & Looks to Sign him for Liverpool – {TeleFoot}
Lovren and Mignolet were terrible against Tottenham in the last contest and they must be replaced. Reports suggest (via Mirror) that Karius could return to replace the Belgian goalie.
Gomez should replace Lovren to start in the central defense with Joel Matip. Trent Alexander-Arnold should return to start in the right back position. Moreno could retain his place in the starting XI.
Dutch star Wijnaldum is out injured and in his absence we can expect the likes of Can, Milner and Henderson to start in the midfield again. The likes of Coutinho, Firmino and Salah should start in the attack. All in all, this Liverpool XI should beat Huddersfield at the weekend.
Next up, the Red Devils will collide against Huddersfield Town on Saturday. Who will come out on top?
As far as Man United’s team news is concerned, Jose Mourinho may make three key changes in the team that started vs the Primeira Liga giants.
Rashford, who scored the winner against Benfica, suffered a knee injury and he should be replaced by Anthony Martial in the starting XI.
In the absence of Pogba and Fellaini, Herrera should retain his starting place in the midfield. He should partner Matic in the center of the park.
As far as the defense is concerned, the likes of Phil Jones and Ashley Young will probably return to the starting XI to replace Victor Lindelof and Daley Blind respectively. Here is Jose’s probable 4-2-3-1 Man Utd XI vs Huddersfield.
The trio have proved to be impressive in the pre-season games so far.
The Reds have defeated the likes of Tranmere Rovers, Fleetwood Town and Wigan Athletic in the pre-season without even conceding a single goal. The Merseysiders will face Huddersfield Town tonight and will hope to get another clean sheet.
As far as the team news is concerned, Jurgen Klopp should make a few changes in the starting XI that played against Wigan.
Young Ben Woodburn is in the limelight after his fantastic display in the last fixture and he may get the nod to start in the attack. The 16-year-old starlet may start with Coutinho and Mane behind lone striker Danny Ings.
Marko Grujic was out with a virus in the game vs Wigan and should return to the starting XI vs Huddersfield. The Serbian may partner Lucas in the center of the park.
Here is Liverpool’s probable starting XI vs Huddersfield Town.
The likes of Danny Ings and Ben Woodburn scored the goals for the Reds to register a 2-0 win.
So far, the Merseysiders have scored eight goals in the pre-season against the likes of Tranmere Rovers, Fleetwood Town and Wigan Athletic. More importantly, Klopp’s men have not conceded a single goal yet and will hope that record continues when they face Huddersfield town next on 20th July.
The German manager will probably make more than a few changes in the starting XI that featured against Wigan yesterday.
Brazilian playmaker Phil Coutinho might be replaced by Lazar Markovic in the starting XI. On the other hand, England international Danny Ings should return to start as the lone striker up front.
Lucas Leiva and Alberto Moreno may also return to the starting XI for the Reds. Here is Klopp’s potential 4-2-3-1 XI vs Huddersfield.
