Last weekend, Burnley lost against the newly promoted Wolves, who made the impressive 30 shots at Joe Hart’s net. The keeper retained the score respectable and Sean Dyche’s side was defeated with the minimal 1:0.

AFC Bournemouth has picked up 10 points since the start season after achieving 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. ‘The Cherries’ have improved a lot in recent years and seem to be real contenders for the Europa League spots this year.

Burnley vs. AFC Bournemouth Odds

According to the bookmakers, the game is a toss-up. AFC Bournemouth are slight favourites with winning odds of 2.54. Draw is valued at 3.10, while win for the home side is priced at 2.87.
Burnley Win – 2.87
Draw – 3.10
AFC Bournemouth – 2.54

Burnley vs. AFC Bournemouth Head to Head

Burnley lost at home to AFC Bournemouth the last time both teams played against each other. This is the only time AFC Bournemouth have managed a win at Turf Moor since failing to win on 5 previous occasions (3L 2D).
Burnley were defeated in 6 of their 7 last games in the Premier League.
AFC Bournemouth started the season on a high, scoring at least twice in 4 of their 5 opening fixtures. ‘The Cherries’ failed to score only against Chelsea in a 2:0 defeat at the beginning of September.

Burnley vs. AFC Bournemouth News

Benjamin Gibson, Nick Pope, Steven Defour and Anders Lindegaard will not feature for Burnley since they are all recovering from injuries.
Eddie Howe and AFC Bournemouth will travel to Burnley without the injured Junior Stanislas and Charlie Daniels.

Burnley vs. AFC Bournemouth Predictions

‘The Clarets’ are yet to win in the Premier League this season but most of this is due to the disappointing performance at the back. So far Burnley concedes a huge number of chances which would benefit Bournemouth’s attack. The visitors are sharp in front of goals managing to score 10 goals in 5 games. However, ‘The Cherries’ also have problems with defence so Both Teams to Score looks like a decent value bet.
If you fancy higher odds, we recommend a AFC Bournemouth Win by 1 Goal Margin bet. Bournemouth should keep the momentum going and could leave Turf Moor as the heroes in a narrow win.
Both Teams to Score – 1.75
AFC Bournemouth Win by 1 Goal Margin – 4.33

The Red Devils opened the scoring via Chris Smalling in the first half before Romelu Lukaku came off the bench to double the advantage.

Three things we learned:
Romelu Lukaku’s best-ever season: Fantasy lovers would surely have been discontent after Lukaku started from the bench but the Belgian more than made up with his second half strike. Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba orchestrated a brilliant counter-attack in the lead-up to the second goal which involved a lovely first-time finish from Lukaku. With the strike, Lukaku notched his 27th goal of the campaign and this has now registered the best-ever season of his professional career.
Chris Smalling proving a valuable goalscorer: Chris Smalling has come for plenty of criticism for his positioning in the central defensive department but he has excelled with the other side of his game. The Englishman has posed a significant threat from set-pieces of late and his goal against Bournemouth meant that he has scored for three consecutive away league games. Smalling has made the third most number of starts for United (39) this term and he has clearly made himself a regular by benefiting from injury concerns to the likes of Jones, Bailly and Rojo.
Manchester United better off without Alexis Sanchez: With Sanchez on the bench, Martial and Rashford combined on a number of occasions in the frontline and the former spearheaded a wonderful counter-attack for the second goal. Meanwhile, Pogba was also offered more space to capitalise on the left side of the field and his performance was reminiscent of those in January, where he impressed in the 4-3-3 formation. Sanchez has been guilty of losing the possession on countless occasions since his winter switch, and Mourinho has a huge decision to make on the Chilean’s involvement against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup semi-final.

Manchester United make the trip to the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth in Wednesday’s league game. The Red Devils suffered a shocking 1-0 home defeat to West Bromwich Albion last weekend, and they will be aiming to return to winning ways ahead of their FA Cup semi-final clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Formation: 4-2-3-1
Lineup:
Spain international David de Gea has been the undisputed pick for the Premier League duties this term. The shot-stopper has kept 16 clean sheets in the top-flight this season, and he will be eyeing to extend this record on the south Coast.
In the defence, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young are genuine contenders to start in the right and left-back positions respectively, and no changes are expected with the game still having significance in United’s quest to finish in the runner-up position.
However, we are anticipating a new partnership at the heart of the backline with Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling probably being rested for the Wembley showdown. In their places, Marcos Rojo and Victor Lindelof could earn some much-needed gametime.
Onto the midfield, Nemanja Matic is another candidate, who may be rested with a view to the Spurs game. The Serbian has been one of United’s most reliable players in the top-flight, but Mourinho could do with a fresher mind against Spurs.
In his absence, Scott McTominay is a strong contender to make the first XI, and we are backing the Scot to partner Ander Herrera. Herrera has brought the tenacity in United’s midfield since his injury comeback, and he could get the nod over Paul Pogba, who may be offered a run-out from the bench.
Further forward, Romelu Lukaku could be rested, and this may bring both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford into the fray for selection. The pair have mostly been used off the bench in recent times, but the Cherries game should suit them with Eddie Howe’s side normally tending to play with an attack-minded approach.
Alexis Sanchez is a strong candidate to slot into his regular left-wing role with Martial on the right, whilst Jesse Lingard could reclaim the number 10 role, where he has excelled over the course of the campaign. The England international has netted eight goals in just 17 league starts for the club (whoscored).
Barring the Cup games earlier in the season, Rashford has barely started upfront. Despite this, the youngster may earn a chance to impress as the lone striker on Wednesday night. The 20-year-old has started just a solitary league game in 2018, and that resulted in a 2-1 win over Liverpool in which he scored an excellent first-half brace.

The North Londoners faced Chelsea in the midweek Carabao Cup semi final first leg that ended in a 0-0 draw.
Next up, Wenger’s men will collide against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday. Who will come out on top?
The future of Sanchez is up in the air but he did feature from the bench against the Blues on Wednesday night. We can expect him to start vs the Cherries at the weekend.
Ozil has been dealing with a knee concern but there is a chance (PhysioRoom) that he will feature for the Gunners as well. Cech should replace Ospina in the goal.
Jack Wilshere suffered an ankle injury vs Conte’s men and he should be replaced by Mohamed Elneny in the midfield. Here is Arsenal’s strongest possible 3-4-2-1 XI vs Bournemouth.
The Reds will look to bounce back by earning all three points against Bournemouth away from home. Last season, Klopp’s men let slip a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3 against the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium.
At the moment, Bournemouth are 14th in the table and have only managed to earn two points from their last 5 league fixtures.
As far as Klopp’s team news is concerned, Matip is still not available so we will probably see Klavan and Lovren in the central defense again.
Moreno remains sidelined as well and in his place Robertson has started the last two games. Milner may return to replace the Scottish international in the LB position.
The likes of Wijnaldum, Coutinho and Henderson should start in the center of the park for the Merseysiders. Adam Lallana could be on the bench.
Mane and Salah have started the last two contests and might be rested but we expect the duo to start because Liverpool must win. Here is Klopp’s probable 4-3-3 XI vs Bournemouth.
The Old Trafford club are already 11 points behind the league leaders and cannot afford to drop more points if they are to have any chance of winning the title.
As far as the team news is concerned, Jose Mourinho may make a few changes in the starting XI that played vs the Sky Blues on Sunday.
Big money signing Romelu Lukaku should be kicked out of the starting XI. The Belgian center forward has only netted once in the last 9 league games and Mourinho should replace him with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The likes of Mata and Martial should start behind the retired Swedish international. In the absence of Pogba, Herrera and Matic should retain their places in the midfield.
Here is Man Utd’s strongest possible 3-4-2-1 XI vs Bournemouth.
Conte’s men have won their last two games in all competitions and should be considered favorites to earn all three points against Bournemouth at the weekend.
As far as Chelsea’s team news is concerned, we can expect star striker Alvaro Morata to return to the starting XI. The Spanish international started on the bench vs the Toffees and only featured for just five minutes.
The likes of Eden Hazard and Pedro will probably start behind the former Real Madrid center forward.
Kante and Moses are out still out injured with Hamstring concerns. In such a scenario, Zappacosta may start in the wing-back position and Bakayoko should partner Cesc in the center of the park.
As far as Arsenal’s team news is concerned, Wenger opted to bench summer signings like Lacazette and Kolasinac against the Reds in their last game. We can expect the duo to return to the starting lineup to face the Cherries on Saturday.
The Bosnian wing-back should replace Oxlade-Chamberlain, who completed his deadline day to Liverpool. On the other hand, the French striker must replace Welbeck in the starting XI.
In the back line, German international Shkodran Mustafi should return to partner Monreal and Koscielny.
Next up, the Blues will collide against Bournemouth, who fought hard to earn a point against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Cherries are unbeaten in their least five league games. Can they stop Conte’s men from earning all three points?
As far as Chelsea’s team news is concerned, Nigerian star Victor Moses is expected to be fit to play on Saturday (PhysioRoom) and his return will be a massive boost for the Italian boss.
The African star should return to the starting XI and play in his usual right wing-back position.
Spanish fullback Cesar Azpilicueta started in the right wing-back position against Manchester City. He will move back in to the defense to partner the likes of Luiz and Cahill.

Liverpool had a great opportunity to strengthen their 3rd place in the table but failed to do so after earning only a single point against Bournemouth.
The Merseysiders suffered an early set back when Wijnaldum gifted Afobe the opening goal. Klopp’s men stepped up and bounced back to level the game before half time thanks to Philippe Coutinho.
Moreover, in the 59th minute of the game, Divock Origi headed the ball in the net from close range to give Liverpool the lead.
The Reds were in a dominant position and the Cherries were not getting a moment’s rest but then Jurgen Klopp made a terrible tactical decision. He took his best attacking player, Coutinho, off the field and replaced the Brazilian with a defender in the form of Matip.
Liverpool were in the driving seat but then went into a reverse gear by playing five at the back and inviting pressure.
The decision was absolutely baffling knowing that the team has been shaky at the back all season. The Reds do not know how to sit back and defend, they were all over the place and eventually conceded in the 87th minute of the game, much to despair of the home crowd.
Liverpool supporters were furious on social media and blamed Klopp for the tactical suicide. Here are a few reactions.
