RED PHIl. You never cease to inspire me. You sure know football through and through! However, I disagree with you that Can is having a poor season, he’s just never meant to be in Liverpool. Clubs like Southampton and Everton have better DM than Can. As I have always maintained, klopp is overrated. For crying out loud, what kind of coach uses slow, tactically deficient and easily troubled Lucas as CB against a fast paced Vardy? Why is Lovren still playing or commanding first team shirt in LFC? Why using Firmino as nine week in week out and refused to sub him when he plays woefully? Lfc players don’t win area contest cos they don’t jump and klopp has refused to correct this , even as most goals conceded come through spot kicks.Liverpool players don’t move with the ball to opposition’s goal, mouth, thus leaving crosses and passes unconnected most times. Their marksmanship is poor as they give opposition acres of space to pass and move the ball around. Klopp is certainly not as good as portrayed.

Lovren isn’t much better and wouldn’t be in my top eight LFC central defenders I’ve seen over the years (Hansen, Lawrenson, Thompson, Hyypia, Yeats, Smith, Gillespie and Carragher all above him) yet we either get him or Lucas!!!!!
Desperate for a good, dependable keeper as we’ve not had one since Ray Clemence and the lack of a defensive midfielder is causing endless problems for a weak defence.
Also, Milner is not a LB, Henderson is not a DM, we haven’t got any width and Firmino is not a striker. Lallana and Coutinho were invisible against Leicester, Can is having a poor season and I now agree with Newcastle fans who said Wijnaldum never seems to perform away from home.
How can our manager – on £220,000 per week – decide to combat the electric Vardy by putting him against the slow and ageing dwarf Lucas and also giving him acres of empty pitch in which to use his pace? If that is the best Klopp can do then he needs to go, sorry!
