England faced Slovenia away from home in their European Championships qualifying game yesterday and it was an absolute cracker.
The Three Lions started the game in mundane fashion just like you expect their boring play under Roy Hodgson.
Deservedly, the Slovenians took the lead and went into the break 1-0 ahead. England though responded back in style in the second half and one star particularly turned on the heat big time i.e Arsenal star midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Wilshere spent most part of last season on the injury table for Gunners but returned strongly and arguably scored Arsenal’s goal of the season on the final day of PL campaign.
Guess what, Jack has found his shooting boots and and scored two brilliant goals to give England the lead. The second one was an absolute stunner. England eventually won 3-2 on the day.
Wilshere can become the leader of midfield for England if he continues to play like this. Here is the goal provided below and fans’ reactions on twitter.
