The question is, what should the veteran French international do now.
Many Arsenal supporters will still have only one thing in mind, another Thierry Henry return to the Emirates, for the last time, for the final bow.
Henry is a gunner and for 20 years the French striker has played at the optimum level scoring goals, no, brilliant goals regularly.
It will be a fitting end to a top career for Henry to hang up his boots playing for the club he loves.
Henry is one of the best strikers ever to play in the English league and arguably the best in the premier league era.
Another thought, certain group of supporters want Henry to return to the club in a managerial role.
Even Arsene Wenger has claimed that his compatriot will eventually return to Arsenal but in what role, we shall know.
Wenger is once again under immense pressure because of Arsenal’s inconsistent performances but surely Thierry will not like to remove his favorite manager and take his place.
Wenger was the one who signed and made Henry a superstar of world football.
Nevertheless, return to Arsenal is all but inevitable for Thierry Henry, the fans anxiously wait again for him to come back.

Even now when Henry has departed the club, the image of Thierry and Wenger together still defines Arsenal.

Over the years we have seen Thierry Henry score many classic and memorable goals for Arsenal. Nearing 36 now, the Frenchman still has it. Infact, the Arsenal legend is never going to lose that class.

Since joining MLS, Henry has scored many screamers for New York Red Bulls and once again he rolled back the years scoring a brace against Montreal which included a spectacular over-head kick that has wowed the footballing world again. His 5th goal of the campaign that eventually ensured the victory last night.

You see such goals and know why Arsenal fans still cry for Thierry Henry’s return every year despite growing age of the veteran star.

There is no denying that Henry can still play at the highest level like David Beckham is doing. Sadly another return to premier league or Europe is highly unlikely but one thing is for sure. That is not the last time we are witnessing a really special goal scored by Henry.
