According to the Times, Hull City defender, Andrew Robertson is set to undergo a medical at Liverpool today after the Reds and the Tigers agreed a fee worth 10 million pounds for his transfer.

In the last campaign, Jurgen Klopp opted to bench Spanish international Alberto Moreno and preferred James Milner, a natural midfiedler, to start in the left back position. Will that change after the arrival of Robertson?
Milner was consistently good in the left back position for the Merseysiders last season. On the other hand, Robertson was not really effective for a team that got relegated from the top flight last season.
The 23-year-old Scottish international played 39 games in all competitions for Hull in the last campaign, scored one goal and provided three assists.

Liverpool desperately need to sign a new left back in the summer transfer window and it looks likely that they will hire the services of Andrew Robertson from Hull City.
The Scottish international has been linked with a move to Anfield for quite some time and as per the latest reports, Klopp is expected to make Andrew his third signing of the summer (via Daily Mail).
Liverpool were even linked with Robertson last year (Mirror) but the move did not happen. Things could be different this time around.
According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have agreed a price worth 10 million pounds ($13million) to secure the signing of the former Dundee United defender.

The 23-year-old full back featured in 33 Premier League games for the Tigers last season, scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists. Not to forget, Hull City were relegated from the top flight after a dismal campaign.

Few days back, Daily Mail reported that Liverpool are closing in on a deal to sign Hull City left back Andrew Robertson in a deal worth 8 million pounds.
Now, as per an update provided by BBC Radio Humberside morning show presenter David Burns, the 23-year-old defender has left the Tigers’ training camp in Portugal. We can expect that his deal to join Liverpool is now edging closer.
Robertson is a versatile talent, who can effectively play as a left midfielder as well. Last season, he scored one goal and provided three assists in 39 appearances for Hull City.
In all honesty, Liverpool need a proven quality LB to strengthen the position and Andrew is by no means a top quality star. Therefore, it will not be shocking to see him warm the bench if he joins the Merseysiders.

According to an exclusive report covered by the Independent, Klopp is ready to sign five players in the form of Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Sessegnon, Timo Werner, Naby Keita and Andrew Robertson. The mentioned players have a combined worth of around €155million.
The British source claims that Klopp is confident of signing two players in the form of Ryan (£15million – €18million) and Andrew (£8million – €9million – Daily Mail) to solve the left back dilemma at Anfield. It will be intriguing to see who will replace Milner, a natural midfielder, in that position next season.
Werner and Kieta have been in fantastic form for Leipzig this season and Independent have claimed that Klopp is keen on hiring their services. Timo has netted 21 goals and provided 7 assists in 31 league games for the Bundesliga side.
Liverpool lack quality and depth in their strike-force and Werner would be a quality signing. Back in March, it was reported (ESPN via Bild) that the German side will demand over €40million to let their star forward leave.
Keita is a versatile midfielder, who has directly contributed in 16 goals (8 goals and 8 assists) in 30 league games this season. His current deal with Leipzig will expire in 2020 and he is rated around €30million (TMW).
Last but not the least, Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk is a wanted man in the Premier League. Independent claim that the £50million rated (€58million – Telegraph) is Liverpool’s top defensive target but Chelsea are favorites to secure his signature.
