Versatile Star Travels Today to Seal Deal with Arsenal

Arsenal have been looking to sign a striker for quite some time and it looks highly likely that they will secure one before the summer transfer window closes.
The player in the limelight is Spanish international and Deportivo La Coruna star Lucas Perez.
According to La Voz De Galicia, Arsenal will pay 20 million euros to sign the 27-year-old star who will travel today to complete medical and sign a four year deal with the North Londoners.
The former PAOK star is a versatile talent who can effectively play as an out and out striker and also as a secondary forward.
Last season, Lucas featured in 39 games for the Spanish side in all competitions and directly contributed in no fewer than 30 goals (19 goals and 11 assists).
In the opening La Liga game of this season, Deportivo defeated SD Eibar 2-1 and Perez contributed in both the goals (scored one and set up the other).

Perez featured in his 17th game of the season today against Barcelona and netted his 13th goal in some style. Barca were leading 2-0 when Lucas showed up and got one goal back with a sublime left foot finish. The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
