To solve the goalkeeping dilemma, German manager Jurgen Klopp signed a new shot stopper in the form of Loris Karius from Bundesliga side Mainz this summer.
The Reds have loaned out Danny Ward to Huddersfield for next season and are now looking to sign another goalie. If reports are anything to go by then the Reds are clear to seal the signing of Italian GK Federico Marchetti
Liverpool were heavily interested in signing the Lazio star back in January and now the Reds can finally sign him because the Serie A side are ready to sell the 33-year-old Italian to Liverpool. Lazio want Albanian international Etrit Berisha as their first choice goalie next season (Football Italia via lalaziosiamonoi.it).
Federico featured in 29 league games last season and kept 11 clean sheets. He was part of the Italian squad that featured in the Euro 2016, however, he was an unused substitute in every game.

Portugal defeated hosts France in the final of the Euro 2016 to become European Champions for the first time in their history.

Defense
As far as the defense is concerned, Real Madrid star Pepe was arguably the best defender and won the Man of the Match prize in the final.
German defender Boateng was solid at the back for the World Champions and also scored a goal, his first for the senior national side. Last but not the least, Italian defender Bonucci makes the list. The Azzurri star also scored a goal and provided an assist in the competition.
Midfield

France cruised into the semi finals of the European Championships with a comprehensive 5-2 win over Iceland last night.

Birkir Bjarnason scored late in the second half to give Iceland supporters another reason to celebrate but the dream run finally ended.
France will now battle the World Champions to book a place in the final.
