Milan secured all three points against Juventus in what was one of their top performances all year long. Christian Abbiati was ruled out with an injury during the warm-up passing on the captain’s armband to Riccardo Montolivo, who gave off signals of a world-class leader on the pitch.
Nocerino and De Jong were massive in the match, running from box to box, sparking up the many counter attacks, and showing off their vigor. However, it was Montolivo who demonstrated those shades of Pirlo/Zidane qualities throughtout the match.
Playing as the ball-holder, keeping cool under pressure, and even showing moments of elegence. A captain for the future? The real number 10?

Meanwhile, the back line was marvelous in keeping out the Bianconeri attacks. Kevin Constant and Mattia De Sciglio bossed the flanks while Philippe Mexes yet again gave another convincing performance. Mattia claimed:

“We worked well for this victory” “We have to keep our feet on the ground and focus on the next game against Catania. We must not lose our concentration.”

Milan’s young hero Stephen El Sharaawy made several darting runs down the wings, but was unable to carry out his superstar potential.
Milanisti could also ask themselves on what would now happen to Allegri from this victory after Berlusconi announced last week that he will continue to chase Pep Guardiola. The Milan manager had his thoughts:

“I’m flattered that Milan is looking at Guardiola as my replacement” “He is one of the best coaches in the world. We played well as a unit today and the players deserve a lot of credit today.”

There are numerous top clubs looking for the signature of Pep Guardiola including the likes of premier league and european champions Manchester City and Chelsea.
In your Opinion, What do you think of Milan’s astounding counter-attacking performance against the champions Juventus? Do you think Milan can attract Guardiola if they fail to qualify for Champions League. Is Montolivo the derserving future captain for the Rossoneri?

AC Milan hierarchy seems to be keeping a solid hold on Count Max despite have a horrid season so far in Serie A and Champions League. Milanisti are becoming ever-more impatient for Allegri to turn the tables around.
However, countless tactical errors, inconsistency with players, and the dubious calls by the coach are giving journalists and supporters more negative beef to throw at the Rossoneri. That has driven the fans as desperate as ant.
Yet again, Galliani has once again come out to address the media after Milan’s 1-3 loss against Fiorentina.

“As soon as the president (Berlusconi) landed, he called me and we met straight away. We spoke for quite a while and then we called Allegri. At the end, we gave our backing to the coach”,

“The president is willing to give his time to Milan and on Friday, he will come to Milanello to encourage the players one by one before we make the trip to Naples. We are not happy of course, but we have evaluated everything and have come to the conclusion that changing the coach will not guarantee anything.”

In football, if a manager is not living up to the expectations of the board, staff, players, fans, it is time to go. It’s simply how the business of the game works.
How many times has Count Max switched up the tactics and formations, misusing players and not galvanizing them to full potential? The numbers never lie and poor standings should slap any manager with a reality check.
So why is Galliani Still resorting to an already failed system at Milan by keeping Allegri?
