It has not been a vintage Liverpool performance really even forgetting about the 3 goals conceded. The intensity has disappeared from Liverpool’s play and it seems almost a pedestrian performance now. It is understandable that Liverpool have made changes with one eye on the champion’s league game next week, however, it does not really make for great game for the fans. Liverpool in the start of the game had a definite edge but did not take advantage. I like Salah with his pace and he has started well with his time at Liverpool but I do feel that his decision making and final ball need work. He had a number of opportunities to make an impact with passes and chances and with a poor final product, the chances fell away. Finally at 75 minutes gone and having conceded a 4th goal, if there was any doubt at this point then conceding a 5th before the end capped a miserable result for Liverpool handing Klopp his biggest ever defeat. Poor, poor, poor on the day!
