Liverpool had always been at the receiving end of all things unwarranted. Remember Heysel. Liverpool was banned from European football for many years while Juventus kept participating, never punished. Did hooligan in football stop? Where were the most hooligans reported? By banning Liverpool, UEFA had succeeded in stopping Liverpool from a hot streak of winning the UEFA Champion League. With regards to ‘tapping’, isn’t it common knowledge that all the mega rich clubs are guilty of tapping? But, apart from Liverpool, they are beyond the reach of the authority concerned.
