United are ‘ready to pay’ are they? That makes it sound like after intense negotiations they are at the very upper limit of what they will grudgingly pay only because he is utterly indispensable to their very future.
Here’s an alternative (and IMO more accurate) headline for you: United are getting their collaborators in the media to try to unsettle Dier (insert Spurs player of the day to be unsettled) at a price they would hope they could limit any prospective deal to.
What you should be asking is:
Are Spurs prepared to sell?
If they are, what price would they be willing to sell at?
Does Dier even want to leave (yes, even to United – before the arrogant ‘United are the biggest club and could sign any player, apart from Modric and Bale apparently’ Mancs chirp in).
A preliminary answer: Fergie really shouldn’t have done that s**t with Berbatov, Levy will never forgive United 🙂
Oh, look, Tottenham are getting good… Let’s try to unsettle all their players and their manager.

worth 35 million is not matching his value price.
in my words, selling dier to Manchester United for 35 million is really mistake.
he is a 22 year old player, (not a 29 year old).
we sold bale for 85 million at the age of 23. then dier should be sold for 60 million
.
that makes some sense in summer.
