At the 54th minute mark when Liverpool conceded a third, I changed the channel. There was an added impetus in the second half that could be seen but absolutely nothing done with it. Oh besides going another goal behind. The back four have shown more guile and determination in the final third than the forward playing personnel have. Firmino is supposed to be playing as a forward and he has spent more time closer to the halfway point than anything else. Mane has been behind and on the right and has not produced much more but at least he has had more contact with the ball. Leicester seem to be up for it and given the fact that Liverpool seem to be still anywhere else, they could be on the end of a real good hiding come 90 minutes. Most of the players should donate their pay for today’s game to a charity because they have certainly not earned it!

The style and quality of play has been absolutely second rate and to be honest, disgraceful. As the commentators said, it looks like the players are still sitting in the sun because they did not turn up in the first half. If this what a relax in the sun gets you then I hope this will the last one they are given. This is almost a full strength side and yet they are being beaten to every second ball and producing little to nothing. They have spent more time in their own final third than anywhere else. Very underwhelming and very poor!
